Welcome to Lucky’s Beach Houses! My name is Sariah Crafts, and together with my husband, Kaleb, we own Lucky’s Beach Houses. Lucky’s Beach Houses is a small family-owned and operated resort in Talihau, Vava’u. Lucky’s is locally managed by an amazing Tongan, named Heleni Tupe. Heleni is a native Tongan born and raised on the island of Vava’u. She manages the resort with help of her entire family and is knowledgable of the local customs and culture. Her family will make your stay extra memorable and give you a true taste of island life. They will greet you upon your arrival and are available on site daily to clean, check-in with guests and make sure you have help booking transportation. They strive to make your stay at Lucky’s Beach a pleasant one and can offer local insight and reccomendations. They will do their best to ensure your stay at Lucky’s is an unforgettable one.
Talihau Beach is located on the island of ‘Utungake in the middle of the Vava´u group of islands, connected to the main island of Vava´u Lahi via land bridges and making access to the town of Neiafu very easy by car. Being outside of town ensures peace and quiet, away from city center.
Being located in the village of Talihau allows our guests to see and feel Tonga. Taking a short stroll in the village is a great way to experience the true Tongan way of life. The Tongan people work hard and play harder. To us, this is what Tonga is all about, big smiles and happy people laughing and singing.
